Tim joined GSS in 1992. He became a shareholder in 1993 and currently serves as the leader of the firm’s Construction and Development Industry Service Team. Tim provides tax and business consulting services to clients in all industries served by GSS, with significant experience in construction and development, financial services, agriculture, manufacturing, distribution, professional services and international business. Tim provides clients with entity structure evaluation, tax services, cash flow planning as well as compilation, review and audit services.
Tim’s career prior to joining the firm includes eleven years with Price Waterhouse in their Miami, New York and Tampa tax departments.
Education
Tim received a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Florida in 1977 and a M.S. in Taxation from Florida International University in 1984.
Professional Affiliations
Tim is a member of the American and Florida Institutes of Certified Public Accountants and is a past President of the West Coast Chapter of the FICPA. He is a member of the Tampa Bay Builders Association and the Florida Home Builders Association.
Community and Civic Organizations Served
Tim is past Treasurer of the Bayfront Center Foundation, Inc. and spent many years as an active member of the Hillsborough County United Soccer Club. In past years he has also been involved in fundraising for the Lowry Park Gulf Ridge Council of the Boy Scouts of America and the United Way. Tim has also served as a tax and accounting advisor with the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the Tampa Bay Partnership, a regional economic development organization located in Tampa.
